Learn How to Safely Collect a Swarm of Bees!
For new beekeepers seeking to acquire bees, PBC, in partnership with Colibri Gardens in Washougal, will be offering a full-day class on how to gather a swarm of bees. Camas bee lady Susan Knilans will be teaching new beekeepers how gather a swarm safely and easily. Spend a fascinating day learning about the magic of the swarm. We’ll put together a swarm kit and you’ll learn about using bait hives, too, and get a brief summary of the cut-out process for more experienced bee folks.
